"An Italian boy of 26 years, attempted to commit suicide by jumping in the subway and is now hospitalized in critical condition at Niguarda. Happened to 18 yesterday to stop at Lambrate underground station (line 2, the green). the circulation was interrupted between stops of Caiazzo and Cascina Hump up to 20.
In those two hours the Atm has prepared the usual bus service substitutes that are used in similar cases have arrived on site, in addition to the 118 operators, the city police and the police. Still unknown reasons that led the young man to this act.
It was only a few years old (he was 32 years old) from Milan who took his own life, always jumping on the tracks, exactly three months ago, on September 29, Precotto station (line 1, the red). Firefighters worked for several hours to remove the corpse from the rails. And, even then, the movement underground remained blocked for several hours, between the stations of Sesto Marelli and Rovereto.
Unfortunately it is not a cliché, but a reality confirmed by facts more and more frequent, that suicides "particularly fond" periods such as public holidays and season changes to try to get it over with. And the story of yesterday confirms once again. "
We draw two interesting conclusions: first that people commit suicide during the holidays because the others are so happy too offensive, and the second is that to throw herself in the trains is not an effective method to commit suicide.
